The real Leo C. Donofrio, Followup
December 2, 2008 by ubirevera
I first wrote about Leo more than a week ago and I was just flying in the dark with trying to determine what kind of guy this was just from info on the web. Since then I have listened to him multiple times on internet radio stations, the best of which seems to be Plains Radio.
He’s been working on this project since September and has posted everything he has done on the net. If NOTHING ELSE, everyone in the country will have the opportunity to learn first-hand how our legal system works. I’ll have to admit, it is pretty fascinating. It is a reality show of sorts only MUCH better.
Leo’s case has essentially nothing to do with Obama’s birth certificate! He doesn’t care WHERE Obama was born. And in fact the case also has application to John McCain’s status. It is based on Obama’s own admission of being a dual citizen at birth. Leo claims that a dual citizen at birth is not a natural born citizen of the US and therefore is not eligible to be President. He has sued the Secretary of State of NJ for allowing ineligible candidates on the ballot (certainly Roger Calero and possibly McCain and Obama).
Back to Leo. He is very long winded, generally patient and loves to talk about the case. He appears to know what he is doing because the case is now being considered by the full Supreme Court and he has been careful to cover all the bases as he has proceeded.
I will stick my neck out and say that this man has integrity. The people who listen to Leo are not in the MSM. They are the underground American freedom fighters, who can get a little too excited sometimes, but have very good hearts. They love America and believe in the Constitution, clinging to their rights and their freedoms with a death grip. Leo is well-trained in being objective. Although his words and ideas incite his listeners to action (blogging action), he cautions them when they make conspiratorial claims and in general go beyond the case to other issues. They would love him to be their champion, but he humbly denies any credit for greatness. Leo is literally their hero.
Leo has recently begun to advise Cort Wrotnowski as he brings a similar yet potentially more powerful case to the Supreme Court. I haven’t examined the details of Wrotnowski’s case but simply pass on to you Leo’s humble attitude toward the other case, yet fierce persistence to get the job done.
Despite having written earlier that Leo doesn’t speak of the case and Constitutional situation as any sort of conspiracy, he has mentioned the possibility of a conspiracy going on against his case. There is a growing list of events that have occurred that really go beyond being procedurally normal, that is, include people going out of their way to make it more difficult for these men to bring their cases before the Supreme Court. Leo has brought charges of judicial misconduct against the NJ judge and obstruction of justice against the Supreme Court clerk, Mr. Bickel, who thwarted his efforts to get the application submitted to the court and did not notify them of applicaton status in a timely manner. The most recent anomaly is that Mr. Wrotnowski was told his reapplication was being set aside for 7 days for anthrax inspection. He then resubmitted it AGAIN by hand this time and it is now entered on the docket. The next step would be for it to be referred to the court, which should happen simply as a matter of procedure. As I understand it, the applications are sent to a specific judge based on geographic location of the applicant. If denied by that judge, the application can be made to another presumably more sympathetic judge.
Unfortunately because of the ”Conspiracy Theory” smokescreen that is up, this case may be flying under the radar so-to-speak, because people really don’t understand it. The people who listen to him are the people that might tend to get caught up in conpiracy theories. Because there is much emotion involved Leo helps keep everyone properly focused. BUT HIS CASE IS NOT A CONSPIRACY THEORY. It is a real case and may bring us to a significantly new place in the history of our country.
And the real Leo Donofrio is not a quitter. I listened to him again tonight on Plains Radio. He gets very little sleep and is a compassionate soul that bears the burdens of those he helps to the point of exhaustion. He is fighting for a principle and the heart of our country, which can be defined in many ways, but we are held together by the Constitution and the hope that it brings for the Society in which we have all shared. If he says he feels like giving up, he won’t. He’s not in it for the glory, which might make it easier to quit. He knows he is not along, but, sometimes he is alone and can ge discouraged by the immensity of the task and perhaps the fear of what would lie ahead of him. When Debbie Schlussel was discussing who would take on the case of investigating Obama’s selective service records, she thought no one would have enough courage to take on the job, for fear of his life. And yet, here is Leo Donofrio, standing up for “Truth, Justice and the American Way” — but he isn’t Superman. He’s just a man and we all get tired and discouraged and longely. He gives credit already to the people who have written and called the Supreme Court for getting his case a hearing. He has said he doesn’t want to do video interviews, he likes radio and he doesn’t want to be a ‘talking head’. Leo’s not quitting this.
